Thank you to NetGalley and the Olivia Hunter Publishing for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
The Witch Blood Prophecy pulled me in right away, and I honestly could not put it down. Elizabeth Ashcroft is trapped in an arranged marriage to a cruel and wealthy man and desperately wants a way out. When a mysterious demon named Caspian offers her a way to escape in exchange for her blood and her company, she agrees—only to find herself pulled into a much darker world of witches, demons, magic, secrets, and danger.
I really enjoyed the story and the way Elizabeth's and Caspian's situations continued to unfold. What made the story especially interesting were the several twists that I genuinely didn't see coming. The mystery surrounding the prophecy kept me turning the pages because I wanted to find out what was really going on and where the story would ultimately lead.
Spice level: 3 out of 5. The spice that was included was very well written; however, the quantity was on the lower side. There were several scenes were the spice was glossed over.
My 4-star rating reflects my thoughts on the ending—definitely left me with some feelings!
Overall, this was an addictive read that kept me turning the pages. I loved the combination of witches, demons, magic, secrets, danger, and unexpected twists, and I genuinely had a hard time putting the book down.
When you read the book, let me know your thoughts!
